Seaton Junction - 21 July 81 - Closed 66

Another closed station on the Waterloo - Exeter line and another Class 50 loco races through.

Shillingstone - Closed 66

On the S&D line. There's currently an ongoing project to restore it to how it was in the early 60s.

Stalbridge - Closed 66

And another on the S&D

Stanmore Village - 88 - Closed 52

The branch line terminus from Harrow and Wealdstone.

Tavistock - Sept 84

I'm not sure if this is the North (closed 68) or South (closed 62) station. If anyone knows...

This is the North station (LSWR) which is now a private house called "Beechings Folly".

Of Tavistock South, the GWR station, hardly a trace remains. The site is now the cattle market and Tavistock fire station. The old South Devon Railway low bridge on the Plymouth side of the station still catches the roofs of tall vehicles, however! - Thanks to Andrew Wilson for this info.

Update - Jules Mole who has been living here for 8 years has informed me that the house is now called simply "Station House". If you have any questions about Tavistock North please e-mail me and I will send them on to Jules.

Tilbury Riverside - Early 82 - Closed 93

On the Fenchurch St - Shoeburyness line. Mainly rush hours only in the latter years. Trains would reverse from Tilbury Town and continue to East Tilbury.
