Stamford - June 82

A Craven DMU. Just look at the wonderful island platform shelter.

Shenfield - 88

A class 321 EMU. Not really within my period of interest, however the Network Southeast livery is now history.

Sudbury - 12 August 82

A lovely shot of a Craven class DMU. Well I think so.

Sudbury - 12 August 82

Another Craven class DMU at the station with myself and family members in the background.

The station has now been demolished and the platform moved further up.

The line used to carry on North - Bury St Edmunds (closed 1961) and West - Cambridge (closed 1967)

Thorpe Culvert - August 84

Looking through the cab of a DMU at a class 31 loco.

Thorpe-le-Soken - May 81

2 x class 309 EMUs arrive for de-coupling for Clacton and Walton-on-Naze.

Thorpe-le-Soken - May 81

The man uncouples.

Thorpe-le-Soken - May 81

The front portion has continued on its way, leaving the rear portion to finish its journey. Remember to close the door!

Westerfield Junction - August 81

Straight on for Lowestoft and right for Felixstowe.

Does this classify as bashing?

Westerfield Junction - August 81

Passing a Craven class DMU.

Wrabness - 25 August 85

A Metro Cammell DMU.

Yarmouth - August 82

A Craven class DMU. Once again the brilliant station lighting with the name on. I bet they are gone as there is now only one station in Yarmouth as opposed to 3 in the railway heyday.
