The
first photo was taken about 3 weeks after the Sanderstead line
closure.
I couldn't get the 05 photo dead on as all I would've
got is a tree!
You can make out Woodside's platforms in
the background of the first photo.
The below left photo is an opposite
view of the above taken from the train.

What an absolutely wonderful photograph.
Paul I love you!
Sanderstead to the left, now of course
Blackhorse Lane Tram stop. Addiscombe to the right, now all filled
in and overgrown up to the bridge
Early 98

You can
see the tracks for the Addiscombe branch quite clearly in the 98
photo. However it has been completely filled in 8 years on. You can
just make out the bridge in the later photo.
Pre-opening 2000
A nice
clear view just prior to opening and 6 years on, nature has taken
over and you can't see a bloody thing!
Late 97 or early 98

Addiscombe.
I have to admit that I got the angle wrong
in the 06 photo. I'll have to go back and take it again!
Addiscombe
Railway Station
After closure
around 97 - 98
28 May 06
The station was knocked down in 2001.
It took about 50 shots to try and get
the right position. I initially thought it would be easy as all
I would have to do is use the crossing as a marker. Little did I
know it's been moved to the right because of the new road. In
the end I used the building in the background (to the left half
way down). I think I've done a good job.
