Towards Woodstock Road

I got funny looks from a bloke in flats as I was in the residents private car park taking this photo. Whoops!

Towards Rugby Road

Pretty easy to believe a railway line once ran through here.

Rugby Road Halt

I believe the scout hut is on the site of the Halt. The right photo is looking back towards Woodstock Road.

Southfields Rec

Well the council knew a line was here!

The first photo is looking north of Southfields Rec. The tree line follows the route. Acton is left, Hammersmith is right.

The second photo is looking down at the tree line towards Rugby Road (Hammersmith). I want to believe the sleepers were the ones used on the line!

South Acton Station

The Hammersmith line joined on the right at the bridge in the distance.

The District line platform was on the left. Now an allotment.

Bollo Lane Embankment

Looking towards Acton Town.

The branch line passed over here and that's the only remnant of this short spur left.

All in all an enjoyable if thoroughly wet day!
