photo is looking north of Southfields Rec. The tree line
follows the route. Acton is left, Hammersmith is right. The second photo is looking down at the tree line towards Rugby Road (Hammersmith). I want to believe the sleepers were the ones used on the line! |

distance. The District line platform was on the left. Now an allotment. |

Looking towards Acton Town. The branch line passed over here and that's the only remnant of this short spur left. All in all an enjoyable if thoroughly wet day! |
