I went over to Hong Kong with work in March 06 and the place really won me over. Here are a few snaps of some of their transportation systems.

Hong Kong Trams
These are absolutely fantastic to travel on, you can feel every bump!

There are 6 different routes, 13 km long and it costs about 25p to travel on. Brilliant!!!!!!!!!

 

KCR East Line

Lo-Wu

This station is on the border with China

The inside of a Metro Cammell EMU used on the KCR.

They have TV on these trains with news bulletins.

East Tsim Sha Tsui

 

Kwun Tong MTR station

The first line opened in 79.

The current system comprises 6 lines - the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan, Island, Tung Chung, Tseung Kwan O and Disneyland Resort Lines, running over 83.7km through 51 stations. Used by over 2.4 million people every weekday, making it one of the most heavily utilized mass transit systems in the world.
