Derby - Sept 85

Shunter 08 842 looks like its been in the sun too long!

Dudley Port - Oct 82

EMU 304 017.

Another station with its name on the station lighting.

Great Malvern - Early 87

I believe its a Gloucester class DMU.

Henley-in Arden - 4 March 86

I think it's a Derby class DMU.

Notice the two different station name signs. Why did they need to add the small one?

Henley-in Arden - 4 March 86

A look at the station buildings.

Leamington Spa - June 82

Photo included purely for the Austin Princess / Ambassador. Did they rename it to try and fool people that they weren't buying possibly the ugliest car ever?

Alan agrees that it was an ugly car and the one shown is a Princess. The Ambassador which was supposed to be a redesign had rear quarter lights behind the rear doors and were much less of a success than the princess. Thanks Alan.

Leamington Spa - June 82

Delightful station trolleys

A class 47 hauling coal wagons.

Leamington Spa - June 82

A Derby class DMU.

Leicester - 23 March 81

My brother and I looking at a class 31 loco.

Being Crystal Palace fans we saw them play Leicester that day. We were dubbed team of the 80s', but by the time of this match we were rock bottom of Div 1 (now Premiership) with 14 pts and Venables had buggered off to QPR. We actually drew 1-1 although Leicester also got relegated that season.

Litchfield City - 5 Dec 84

A Derby Class DMU or maybe a Gloucester class. They really look the same to me.
