Not Ore? - Feb 83 I thought this was Ore (Hastings), but now I'm not so sure. St Leonards Warrior Square - Thanks to Martin Prime & Richard Conely. |

Southern region - March 86 A DEMU and a loco hauled train in sight. Is this station in the Hampshire region? Romsey - Can't believe I didn't get this one, I've got photo's of me here in my Southern section! Cheers to Martin Prime |

Southern region - May 85 Eltham Park (closed 16 March 85) - Thanks to David Glasspool. See below. Picture 30 under the ''Unknown Locations'' section is Eltham Park, on the Bexleyheath Line. The view is looking west, towards the platforms and the rear of the ''high-level'' station building (which had been acting as shops since as early as 1924). The station closed on 16th March 1985, together with Eltham Well Hall, when a new set of modern platforms opened on the section of track in-between the two sites. The station building is still very much in existence and the platforms are readily identifiable, but the canopies are, sadly, long gone. |

Southern region - 91 Not much to see of the station here, however this rather attractive EMU in NSE livery (I know it's a 2nd gen, but I'm only human) is a class 442 "Wessex Express" used on the Waterloo - Weymouth line, so could this station be Weymouth? Weymouth - John Norton has also confirmed my suspicions for this one. |

Sheffield area - July 83 A couple of Derby or Gloucester class DMUs. Maybe Dore? Darren tells me it definitely isn't Dore. Mexborough - Cheers to Martin Foster for his tremendous input. Wa'hey!! We have a difference of opinion here Jim. Douglas Johnson says this is Definitely Barnsley. Can any wade in and confirm one of these 2 offerings? Andrew Picken has confirmed its Definitely Barnsley, taken from the now demolished footbridge. |

Sheffield area - July 83 I have no idea where in the Sheffield area a branch line terminus like this could be. Martin Foster thinks this is Clayton West. Looking at other photos on the web, I'm not so sure, so I'll leave a question mark on this one for the time being. Andrew Humphries has made things interesting, he believes this is St Albans Abbey, no where near the Sheffield area, however I'm only going by what other photos were with it in the album, so it could indeed be St Albans. I'd be grateful if anyone could confirm it. Edward Pearce confirms it's St Albans Abbey. Cheers Guys |
