Ok. This is the section where I need your assistance. We've got over 60 photos from various locations and for whatever reasons we don't know where they were taken. If you see one and go "blimey that's my local station!" please e-mail me: disusedrailways1@aol.com and indicate the number on the left.
Excuse my tardiness, but these aren't in strict alphabetical order.
Update 19 February 07 - All completed. I never thought every single one would be identified. Big respect to everyone involved.
A big thanks to all you guys for your input.
Dave

Charlbury line - late 83 Finstock perhaps? Mike Hall believes this is Finstock before the platform was moved to the other side of the track. Looking at photos from other sites, I believe he's right, however I would like confirmation. Roger Marks has confirmed that this is Finstock. Co Durham (possibly) - End 87 A rather charming looking station. If indeed it is, there are no signs to indicate. It could be the local Conservative club for all I know! Paul has identified this station as Richmond in Yorkshire the terminus on the Catterick branch closed 3 March 69. Apparently it's now used as a garden centre. |
